MYBA The Worldwide Yachting Association is an international professional organisation, founded in 1984, with both Corporate and Individual Members. The Association’s mission is to inspire, support and empower people in the superyacht industry to be their best: by maintaining business at the highest level of ethical conduct, committing to equality and diversity, protecting the environment, sharing knowledge and combining strengths, building strong relationships, and continuously developing, both professionally and personally.MYBA is the creator of the industry’s most respected and widely used contract documents, the MYBA Sales & Purchase Memorandum of Agreement (MYBA MoA) and the MYBA Charter Agreement, which together with their associated documents are updated as regulations and the global market change. The MYBA MoA was recently revised and the new version is now available in electronic form complete with a unique serial number that guarantees its authenticity. MYBA is also the owner and administrator of YACHTFOLIO, the online tool that changed the way luxury yacht charter professionals do business, and it organises the very successful MYBA Charter Show, one of the most important annual events on the yachting calendar.MYBA plays a significant role in shaping the future of the superyacht industry. It contributes to the education of future generations of yachting professionals by organising the annual MYBA Brokers’ Seminars, with existing Members contributing time and valuable expertise to ensure that they begin with best prospects for success. It is in continuous communication with Government Organisations, Coastguards, the International Maritime Organisation, Licensed Marine Underwriters, Insurance Companies and Lawyers, in order to ensure that the possible negative impact of regulations and bureaucracy is avoided.MYBA Member is an important professional endorsement but it also means acquiring a seat at the collective table, adding your perspective and having your voice heard.
