The Leisure Marine Association – Middle East & North Africa

represents the interests of the boating and yachting industry and is an advocate for the leisure marine community.

The Leisure Marine Association MENA is a marine trade association founded from within the marine industry to promote, protect and advance the interests of its members and the industry. We bring together all stakeholders within the UAE and the greater MENA region to speak with a united voice and to effect relevant positive change within the industry.

The Leisure Marine Association’s Objectives are:

– To promote, protect and advance the interests of its Members and that of the Leisure Marine industry.
– To promote the cooperation, education and raise standards of the Leisure Marine industry.
– To promote the exchange of information between companies involved in the Leisure Marine industry.
– To provide leadership for and be the voice of the Leisure Marine industry on all matters of significance to the marine industry.
– To work with, advise and assist governments, public authorities, trade industries and associations in respect of matters of interest to – the Leisure Marine industry.
– To inform and advise the Leisure Marine industry of government policies and actions and other matters affecting their interests and take appropriate action.
– Provide a channel for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience dealing with the promotion of the Leisure Marine industry.
– To encourage safety with watercraft and persons involved in leisure boating.

Code of Conduct for Members of the Leisure Marine Association MENA:

– Be professional at all times and maintain the highest levels of integrity.
– Be honest and fair in all interactions with leisure marine end users.
– Look after the best interests of the leisure marine community and support its goals.
– Provide correct and expert advise to all members of the marine community.
– Maintain the highest standards of service and quality towards all clients.
– Make use of environmentally sustainable best practices.
– Promote safe boating and encourage education of the boating public.
– Be an active supporter of the LMA and committed to the cause.
