The sixteenth edition of YARE – Yachting Aftersales & Refit Experience, organized by NAVIGO in the Tuscan nautical district from March 11 to 13, concluded. For three days, over 100 superyacht captains and around 150 companies from the international nautical supply chain met across shipyards, conference rooms, and roundtables, creating an intense networking environment. B2C meetings scheduled through the event’s digital platform exceeded 2.600.
The evening of March 12 concluded with the traditional YARE gala dinner, held in the heart of Via Coppino, within the Viareggio nautical production district. Inside a temporary structure set up among the shipyards, more than 600 industry professionals participated in an event combining hospitality and entertainment: a light fountain show, staged for the first time in this context, transformed the production area into an atmospheric backdrop, bringing the event directly into the operational heart of the district.
The final day, March 13, saw the conclusion of the “B2C Meet the Captains” sessions in the morning, while in the afternoon four parallel workshops took place, designed as practical roundtables. The topics covered included refit and environmental sustainability (moderated by Alperen Direkci), professional growth in the nautical sector (moderated by David Seal), new fiscal and legal challenges for the industry, including VAT, export regulations, and ESG standards (led by Gianfranco Puopolo and Carla Bellieni), and the application of artificial intelligence to nautical operations (moderated by Robin Weninger).
In the evening, the networking event “Anchor’s Up! – Night on Course,” reserved for captains and companies, closed three days of meetings and international exchange.
With its sixteenth edition, YARE further strengthens its role as an international meeting point for captains, companies, and refit professionals in the Tuscan nautical district.
