The incidence in Germany remains high and everyone is warning about omicron. Will boot Düsseldorf be cancelled because of this?
Due to the spread of the omicron virus variant, further restrictions will apply in North Rhine-Westphalia with the adjustment of the Covid Protection Ordinance from 30th December, among other things at public trade fairs. This also affects boot Düsseldorf, which as a supra-regional leisure fair may not take place in 2022 due to the measures decided by the state government.

• What makes you confident that the coming fairs will not have to be cancelled due to another lockdown (because of omicron)?
The other trade fairs planned in Düsseldorf in spring 2022 are not affected by this decision. Unlike boot, these are trade fairs attended exclusively by people for professional reasons. Messe Düsseldorf considers each event individually and, in addition to the infection, the travel and the legal situation, also takes into account the specific requirements of the respective trade fairs and their sectors.
• How do visitors get their money back for purchased tickets?
Tickets purchased for boot 2022 will lose their validity. For a refund of the purchase price, please contact the respective point of sale.
eTickets purchased at the boot ticketshop will be refunded automatically. For organizational reasons this can take up to 3 weeks.
