Ahead of schedule, the refit division at Cantieri di Pisa has completed two of the numerous projects the yard is working on. They are a majestic 41-metre Feadship and a 43-metre sailing yacht by Perini Navi, which have been returned to their owners over the last few days.
These two superyachts bring the number of units delivered in 2025 to 30, totalling over 1,500 metres in length, with another 10 yachts of various types and sizes, built by various brands, soon to be handed back to their owners. These deliveries confirm the capacity and know-how of the shipyard, which occupies a surface area of 24,000 square metres and has about thirty direct employees, with a total supply chain workforce of about 300.

Cantieri di Pisa is proud to announce the completion of refit work on two megayachts, ahead of the agreed schedule. The two units recently returned to their owners are a 43-metre steel sailing yacht designed and built by Perini Navi in 2000, and a 41-metre motoryacht built in the Netherlands by Feadship in 1981.
The Perini superyacht, managed by Monte Carlo-based agency Simonazzi Yachts, presented a major challenge for the shipyard because of the boat’s size and type: after dismasting to enable the boat to enter the Canale dei Navicelli, a series of invasive work processes were performed, including the complete repainting of the boat’s entire structure and masts. Class renewal completed work on the boat, which has now been handed back to the owner and is ready to go cruising in the Mediterranean.

Work on the 41-metre Feadship involved repairs to the metal hull and other refurbishments of the on-board equipment, starting with the replacement of the stabilizers, which are now electrically operated. The refitting of this yacht, brokered by Viareggio-based company Vannucci Group Agenzie Marittime, has given the boat an amazing new look, ready for the cruising season in the Mediterranean and also available for charter. With the owner’s agreement, the refit was split into two parts – the first technical and the second aesthetic – and work was completed with class renewal.
These two latest deliveries confirm the success of the shipyard’s refit division, which over the past season has completed work on over 30 boats, built by different shipyards and of various sizes, with owners based all over the world. Another 10 vessels will soon be handed back to their owners, bringing the total length of boats delivered this year to one nautical mile.
Cantieri di Pisa performs refits in an area occupying 24,000 square metres, with almost 30 employees, plus dozens of third-party professionals working on each individual project, taking the total supply chain workforce to between 200 and 300 people. The equipment available to the team includes a trolley and a travel lift, each with a capacity of 300 tonnes.
