The Diversity Charter, a European Commission initiative to promote diversity in business, was established in Greece in 2019. Greece became the 23rd country to sign the Charter. Its aim is to serve as a means of commitment for the implementation of equal opportunities and diversity in every work environment in Greece. In our country, the Diversity Charter is implemented by KEAN in cooperation with the Institute for Diversity and Inclusion – D&I.

The Diversity Charter, an initiative of the European Commission to promote diversity in Greek businesses, is established in Greece in 2019, following the European DIMAIN project, and aims to serve as a means of commitment to the implementation of equal opportunities and diversity in every work environment in Greece. The Diversity Charter has been promoted in every EU Member State since 2004. Several countries have already proceeded with the implementation and continuous reinforcement of the European dissemination project of the Charter. Examples include France, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, with actions supported since their inception by leaders such as Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as by institutions, governmental bodies, ministries and business associations.
