Although it may be convenient to buy the chemicals you need in huge bulk, it may not be practical for storage purposes and could even be hazardous to crew and vessel. In addition, some chemicals do not have a long life, particularly when exposed to humidity. For these reasons, it’s good to know where you can order your chemicals in advance before arriving in port.
