Compressors
There more uses for compressors on board than off! Naturally, something a marine engineer knows all about. Firstly, compressors are a necessary safety feature as they are used to power the foghorn and other ships’ whistles. Compressors also power the movement of fresh water, oil and waste water around the vessel to its intended destination. In addition, a portable compressor would be used for deck work and diving.
