Polyester - Polymer Constructions
Polymers or polymer composites to be precise are extensively used in boat building today. Craft of up to 50m LOA would have about 70% polymer composite in its construction in contrast to large ships with less than 10%. The reason for this should be discussed with a Naval Architect. Certainly polyester/polymer composites are being made that are stronger than steel!
