ACI MARINAS

R. Strohala 2 / HR - 51000 Rijeka, Croatia

Sailing is a necessity, as the old seafaring saying goes — and Croatia’s waters call you back time and again.

A recent TOMAS Nautica survey reveals that one in two international boaters has sailed along Croatia’s Adriatic coast six times or more. They are drawn by the siren call of countless bays and coves, idyllic beaches and other wonders of pristine nature, complemented by a culinary offering that brings together the best of Mediterranean and continental cuisine. With every visit, boaters discover something new about the Croatian Adriatic, and exploring its beauty and hidden corners is almost unimaginable without ACI marinas.

The Mediterranean’s largest marina network and Croatia’s leading nautical tourism company is the first choice for boaters from around the world and the ideal starting point for new adventures. Boaters know this and keep returning to ACI, which, in turn, fulfils their wishes: whether they prefer an active holiday, complete relaxation far from the noise and bustle of cities, or the opportunity to enrich their boating experience with new cultural, natural or culinary discoveries. ACI offers boaters the ideal sailing itinerary, every comfort and a secure berth, whatever their boating preferences.

The jewels of ACI’s marina network are strategically spread from Umag in the far north to Dubrovnik in the far south. We are particularly pleased to highlight that, in August 2016, the ACI network welcomed its 22nd member — ACI Marina “Veljko Barbieri” Slano, on the Dubrovnik coast. Each of the 22 marinas is situated in the heart of a historic town or close to Croatia’s exceptional natural attractions, blending seamlessly into its surroundings without disturbing their remarkable harmony. The fact that almost 500,000 boaters choose ACI as their host each year confirms that this is precisely what today’s boaters seek. The reason lies in a carefully connected marina network that allows boaters to spend each day in a new and appealing destination while enjoying numerous discounts and benefits. When they finally say “until next time” — because Croatia’s coast never inspires a final goodbye — they take home unforgettable memories and a longing for another Adriatic adventure.

Croatia’s Adriatic coast offers adventures generously and in abundance. It is a remarkable mosaic of the ancient and the modern, unspoilt nature and urban comforts, distinctive local traditions and customs that coexist harmoniously with, and are enriched by, the latest technological and organisational advances in the global tourism industry. Thanks to ACI’s extensive marina network, boaters can explore the cultural and natural attractions of the beautiful Adriatic coast and, in just a few days, uncover the secrets preserved by living monuments to thousands of years of history, such as Rovinj, Pula, Split, Korčula and Dubrovnik. They can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of hidden coves on the islands of Cres, Rab, Pag, Brač and Hvar, or experience the breathtaking harmony of unspoilt nature in Kornati, Krka and Mljet national parks.

Today, leisure time is one of our most precious currencies. The ACI team will do everything it can to turn the dreams of boaters who spend the year longing to sail the Adriatic into reality. In the meantime, until the next boating season, enjoy “sailing” through our new website as much as we enjoyed creating it for you.
