The Palma Superyacht Show’s organisers are pleased to confirm the event’s new 2021 dates.
The show will now be held from June 3 until June 6. The event was due to take place from the 30th of April to the 3rd of May.
We are following the evolution and effects of the pandemic closely and believe a postponement is the right choice for everyone involved, both on a local and international level. Our new dates coincide with the reopening of most of the island’s hotels and a projected start of Balearic tourism.
Rest assured: we are doing everything we can to host the kind of quality event our visitors and exhibitors have become accustomed to and at an optimum time for all.
Although later than initially planned, the Palma Superyacht Show will go ahead and, when it does, it will be a joyous celebration of the strength of our local and international yachting community. We’re excited about the 2021 Mediterranean yachting season and very much look forward to seeing you in Palma in June.
We, of course, have put all processes in motion so everyone can enjoy the event without having to worry about their wellbeing.
The Palma Superyacht Show
The Palma Superyacht Show, a must-visit for those looking to buy or charter a superyacht, is the perfect place to get lost in the illustrious world of yachting. From classic sloops to fast displacement motor yachts, it annually hosts an eclectic mix of 80+ super yachts, all represented by the world’s biggest brokerage firms. This means potential buyers/ charterers only deal with brokers who know the yachts they represent and the market, as a whole, inside out.
A game changing aspect of the Palma Superyacht Show is its 50 / 50 ratio of power to sail, which effectively means it’s one of the largest sailing superyacht shows worldwide. All yachts are immediately available for charter and/or sale and so perfectly timed to cruise the turquoise waters of the Balearics and enjoy the Mediterranean summer season, which starts right after the show.
The show’s setting in the Mediterranean’s most flourishing superyacht hub, Palma de Mallorca, is another strong point. And is also the reason no fewer than 75 international exhibitors (leading shipyards, equipment and service companies) return year-on-year to participate in the Palma Superyacht Show’s growing success.
A third of the aforementioned exhibitors are located in the show’s dedicated Refit & Repair area. This B2B section centered on yachting’s professionals has been well-received by both visitors and participants alike. And with 750 captains and crew in attendance exhibitors can rest assured that their products and services will be seen by the right people.
Organized by the industry, for the industry, the show not only provides exhibitors with an ideal platform to showcase all they have to offer but also ample opportunities to make profitable business connections, whether during an organized conference, stylish brunch or evening cocktail party.
Aside from commenting on the show’s excellent networking opportunities, visitors and exhibitors alike repeatedly compliment the Palma Superyacht Show’s signature laid-back atmosphere. It figures. Not many shows are hosted in a city that combines the facilities of a superyachting epicenter with the joie de vivre of a holiday destination.
Added attraction is the show’s location in the center of Palma de Mallorca, a 20-minute drive from the international airport. What’s more, the show annually includes the 1st May public holiday –giving overseas visitors plenty of time to enjoy everything that Mallorca’s cosmopolitan capital has to offer, such as its magnificent beaches, upscale restaurants and high-end shopping.
