General Constructions Ifaistus was established in 1980 however we have a long tradition in general constructions and tailor-made fabrications of over 40 years since being founded. Our founder Mr. Omiros Tsakiroglou and his family has been involved in the industry since 1980. General Constructions Ifaistus was established in order to serve exclusively on the shipping industry however expanded in the heavy industry, as well. Headquarters are situated in the centre of Piraeus Industrial Zone with an area of 600m2, and two (2) workshops in Athens of 900 m2 area where major repairs of hydraulic motors, valves, cylinders are performed as well as pre-fabrication of BWTS.

Today General Constructions Ifaistus employees more than 30 persons with average service in our company 30 years, owns three (3) workshops of total area 1500 m2, expanded to, among others, Hydraulics Spares/Repairs in-house and On-board, and is being ISO classed with major IACS Classification Society.
